This Instructor-led, OSHA 10-Hour General Industry training program is intended to provide students with an overview of the basic health and safety hazards present in the workplace. The OSHA 10 hour general industry training course also provides students with an overview of how the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) operates. There are no prerequisites required to take the 10-hour general industry course.
The OSHA 10 hour training course for general industry is based on the OSHA 1910 standards. We also address state-specific OSHA requirements, where applicable. This OSHA 10 hour training course is designed for workers in most factories and manufacturing operations, healthcare industries, transportation and warehousing, chemical plants, oil and gas production operations, and service industries.
The OSHA 10 hour training course in general industry standards was created by OSHA, who has authorized certain OSHA Outreach trainers to conduct this 10-hour training class for a group of workers. The OSHA 10 training courses are presented in a classroom setting (usually spread over two consecutive days).
